Terms of Service

Welcome to MRRPromote. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mrrpromote.com (the "Service"). MRRPromote is an informational platform that aggregates and displays startup revenue data submitted by founders and verified through third-party payment providers. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2.1 Payment Provider API Keys

To verify your startup's revenue, you may provide a read-only API key from your payment provider (Stripe, RevenueCat, Superwall, Creem, or others). These API keys are:

• Stored securely using encryption
• Used only to fetch revenue-related metrics
• Restricted to read-only permissions — we cannot modify your account or process payments
• Never shared with third parties

2.2 What Data We Collect

We only collect revenue-related metrics:

• Total revenue amounts and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
• Last 30 days revenue and growth percentages
• Active subscriptions count and churn rates
• Aggregate customer count (total number only)
• Business account information (name, website, description — publicly available)

2.3 What Data We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect or store any customer information:

• Customer names, email addresses, or physical addresses
• Payment method details (credit card numbers, bank accounts, etc.)
• Individual transaction details containing customer information
• Any personally identifiable information (PII) of your customers

Your customer data remains completely private. We only access aggregate revenue metrics and never see, store, or have access to individual customer information.

Revenue metrics we collect are used solely for:

• Displaying your startup's verified revenue on MRRPromote
• Including your startup in revenue leaderboards and rankings
• Calculating growth trends and metrics

We update revenue data automatically on a regular basis using your provided API key. You can remove your startup and revoke API access at any time by contacting [email protected].

We recommend using restricted API keys with read-only permissions. For Stripe, we only accept restricted keys (rk_live_*) with limited permissions:

• Read-only access to charges and subscriptions
• Read-only access to account information

These restricted keys cannot be used to modify your account, process refunds, or access sensitive customer data. Your API keys are encrypted and stored securely.

All revenue data displayed on MRRPromote is pulled directly from your payment provider's API. We do not modify or manipulate this data. However, revenue figures may include one-time payments or refunded transactions, and verified data reflects a point-in-time snapshot that may not represent current performance.

Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All data is provided for informational purposes only. You should conduct independent due diligence and consult qualified professionals before making any business or investment decisions.

You have the right to:

• Remove your startup from MRRPromote at any time
• Revoke API access by deleting or rotating your API key with your payment provider
• Request deletion of your startup's data from our platform
• Update your startup's information

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated revenue data or startup information
• Provide API keys with permissions beyond read-only revenue verification
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape or systematically extract data from the Service without prior written consent
• Use the Service to engage in or facilitate any unlawful activity
• Interfere with the performance or integrity of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any startup

MRRPromote integrates with third-party payment providers (Stripe, RevenueCat, Superwall, Creem, and others) to fetch revenue data. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

All content on the Service not submitted by users — including design, layout, code, and logos — is the intellectual property of MRRPromote and protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. Startup names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and their appearance on the Service does not imply any endorsement by MRRPromote.

All purchases made on MRRPromote are final and non-refundable. This applies to all paid services, including but not limited to:

• Sponsorship placements (Pro and Premium listing tiers)
• Verified account fees
• Startup listing fees

Once payment is processed, your listing, sponsorship, or verification is activated immediately. Sponsored placements and listings are distributed to our users right away — including visibility boosts in rankings, inclusion in email digests, and exposure across the platform. Because these benefits are delivered instantly upon payment, we cannot reverse or refund the transaction.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this no-refund policy.

MRRPromote is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MRRPromote, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate, incomplete, or false information provided by users
• Any business or investment decision made based on information found on the Service
• Any inaccuracies in revenue data pulled from payment provider APIs
• Unauthorized access to or loss of your API credentials or data
• Any errors, omissions, or interruptions in service availability

You are responsible for ensuring your API keys have appropriate permissions and restrictions. You acknowledge that your use of MRRPromote is at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MRRPromote, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service
• Any information, data, or content you submit to the Service
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MRRPromote after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
